About Sahabas Group & Mustakeem Robbins

Sahabas group was created by Mustakeem Robbins in 2026 after he recognized that most peer recovery support groups out there often have a heavy integration with christianity. Sahabas group was created to address a gap in recovery programming: a lack of programs that focus on or integrate the teachings of the islamic faith.
People in recovery tend to do better when they are supported by a group of peers who understand their religious and cultural practices and how their faith and religion are impacted by substance use disorder. Mustakeem seeks to help bring people back to themselves and their families by integrating the teachings of islam with recovery methods that have a clinical track record of success.
Mustakeem is certified in the methods of damascus way and is soon to be a certified peer recovery specialist in the state of minnesota.
