About Sahabas Group
Sahabas group was created by Mustakeem Robbins in 2025 to address a critical gap in peer recovery services.
Many recovery programs include faith-based elements, but few intentionally integrate Islamic principles and culturally responsive support. Sahabas Group was created to provide a space where Muslim individuals can pursue recovery without feeling disconnected from their faith, culture or identity.
Our approach combines peer support, faith centered guidance, lived experiences and recovery methods with a proven foundation for long term success.
About Mustakeem Robbins
Mustakeem Robbins founded Sahabas Group after recognizing the need for recovery programming that better reflects the experiences of Muslims navigating substance use recovery, incarceration and reintegration.
His goal is to help individuals reconnect with themselves, their families, their faith and their community.
Mustakeem is trained in the Damascus Way recovery model and is a Peer Recovery Specialist.
Through Sahabas Group, he brings together compassion, structure, accountability and faith centered support to help individuals move forward with purpose.
